Cleveland to meet with Quinn!

Brady Quinn is expected to meet with the Cleveland Browns this week.

Two league sources told Yahoo Sports that rumors of Quinn's draft stock falling are false. "The kid did his part," one source said in response to the idea that Quinn didn't win big games in college. "He played very well. Was he great every time? No, but nobody is. The fact is that Notre Dame didn't have nearly the talent that a bunch of other teams had."

Sorry, but I think we all had great pipe dreams thinking this kid was gonna fall in the draft ala Matt Lienart. Seems like he did what he said he was gonna do and promoted himself very well at the Combine. We will be meeting with Drew Staton soon, so it seems like even though Mueller and Cam would love ro have Quinn they are gonna have to draft a QB in the later rounds.

Also, you never know which player will turn out to be the real deal or the real bust. We might miss Quinn and end up with the better guy in Stanton or some other project.

It ain't over till it's over. As long as there is no NFL team jersey on Brady Quinn, there's a chance he could go to anyone. A slim chance but still better than nothing.

It's a shame Quinn's countering all the bad press against him. We really could've used a guy like him.

every top team is going to meet with every top prospect. this is no news really. not to be negative. the raiders will meet with him also at some point too as will we.
