I understand most teams have a capologist but why do so many coaches get it wrong when using the clock.
Last night San Diego is driving for the tying touchdown and on 2nd and 8 Drew Bress runs to the 1 yard line making it 3rd and goal. There is 1:11 left on the clock and they use on of there 2 timeouts. I think it was a good call to use a timesout but they shuld have let the clock run down 30-40 seconds first. If they had scored on that play the Jets would have had a minute and 2 timeouts to drive into field goal range to win the game
This happens every week and even Saban made a mistake he admitted in the LSU game
Most teams have someone telling the coach when to review a play I think it is time teams start to hire Clockologists
