Exactly like that, because the following year with pretty muh the same talent, they won 11 games, and the AFC East.

For every thow he makes he misses 3 of them. Henne sucks, just accept it, move on, and get a real QB.

Henne needs to be better in the Redzone, but he is not an elite QB, he is not even a great or very good QB, but he is a good QB.

Henne is able to sustain long drives from deep in Miami's side to the redzone of the other teams on more then 1/3 of his drives, he is able to get large chunks of yardage in games, his completion percentage is around 60%....if he was also good in the redzone geting TDs, you would have to then call him very good to great this year.

Its not always about the stats and if your not in the top half of the NFL as a QB then you are AVERAGE at best, not even good. Henne needs to be replaced.

15 QBs that are 100% better, not in any order: Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Rivers, Ryan, Flacco, Stafford, Big Ben, Orton, Fitzpatrick, Vick, Romo, E. Manning, Schaub, Bradford.
*Thats not even counting P. Manning, Freeman, and Sanchez (no matter how much I hate the Jets, Sanchez makes plays to win the game for his team and is for sure better than Henne), So that makes 18 starting QBs better than Henne.

so you're saying henne is only hitting 1 outta 4 passes? my math calculator says he would have a 25 percent completion ratio if he throws a 100 passes. Of course since he's hitting 58 percent of his passes its more like he's hitting 3 outta every 5 passes. but what the heck lets go with your numbers. 7-6=5
 
I don't pin the close game losses on Henne. I blame the entire team and coaching staff because they're SOFT. This team lacks that "bite" that teams with toughness have. It's all over the field. Where's our pass rush on the big plays? Where are the big hits on TE"s across the middle (instead they're 21 yard gains). I think this team has B- talent, but has D- toughness. The last team we had that made the playoffs had D+ talent with B+ to A toughness. When an entire team lacks it, you really have to look at the head of the snake - Sparano. Yes, you could say we have veteran defensive players who should step up and take over, but we don't have the Ray Lewis kind of personality on this team. Instead of pinning a guys *ss to the wall for blowing a drive, Sparano looks like Mary Lou Fing Retton when we settle for a FG. Continuous close losses are all about mentality and toughness. It's hard to root for a good team full of sissy-pants girls, but I'll watch again on Sunday.

LOL...everyones a joker...if you think I was being literally then obviously ur blinded by Henne "Stat-Goggles" too and feel like you need to come up with smart *** comment. Keep them on and keep thinking Henne is your man. I on the other hand realize the truth.

By the way he doesnt have to throw 100 passes to hit 25%. 1 out of 4 is good enought to be 25%.

so you think 4 passes is a large enough sample to definately say he's throwing for 25 percent?
 
I think Henne will be just fine.


As the backup to our 1st round pick next year.

Blame the entire team because their soft, ok, I get it. But don't you think that this team's softness might be influenced by the fact that their QB has always played his worst in the 4th quarter, has always played worse with the game on the line, and has always struggled when it comes to actually turning his production into points? What reason do they have to believe when they are saddled with a guy who has proven to be unsuccessful at both the college and pro level?
 
The wasted timeouts don't help matters. Also a good tight end for the red zone would make a big difference. But yes, Id love a top 15 qb.

imo you keep beliveing cheezy is better than henne . some people are like trolls on here and dont know chit about football.
