sounds like this kids got game.i might get his jersey next year because nike will take over in 2012 and i dont wnt two
 
Yeah he sounds like he is going to be a great mid round pick. He is ginn but with a sack and willing to go up and get the ball. The problem is, is he going to be the number two guy or is he going to be the forth guy on the roster? R the coaches going to use him properly or r they going to let all that speed and moves just sit on the sideline every game? I sure hope they give him a few shots down field every game. The same way they rotate RB's they should do the same with hartline and gates at WR. One series you have hartline and bush on the field and the next you have thomas and gates. Always having a speedster and playmaker on the field.
 
With all this talk of Gates being so fast and not being negative, but i'm i the only one thats concerned wether or not Henne can get the ball to him?
 
i would like a CLAY or BUSH. man you could rock tht bush for a lifetime just think about it.i do love bush

I think alot of people are going to be surprised by not having a buzzer ringing in your ear every day for months before the season is going to do for Chad. All Henning had to do is have them dress up in toga's instead of jersey and pads and it would have been exactly how it was back in his time. That old fossil.

He had no trouble getting it to Ginn. I think Henne was over-thinking those deep routes to Hartline and Marshall and put too little on it because he was afraid of overthrowing them. With Ginn he threw it effortlessly knowing he can run under it.
 
Gates showing some potential is great news, he can be the deep threat that we needed so badly. I know a lot of people are not huge fans of the moves we've made this year but i for one am. I think we got good players with value and talent without over paying like the raiders did on Huff. I'm not saying we'll win the superbowl but i will say i beleive our offense will suprise some people including miami fans.

Ginn was crazy fast in a straight line, problem is play WR you have to be able to get in and out of cuts very quickly to get seperation and he wasnt good at that.
 
i dont think henne would have been drafted in the 2nd round if he was not able to throw a deep ball.come on man al the scouts pegged him with a good arm and now his chains are off.no more henning if he fails this year then its time to move on
 
Should I be happy that Gates is completely eating up our defense? Or nervous that our defense may be worst than I thought it was gonna be this year.. Im thinking Top 5 D, but Gates is making me nervous.. lol

Well apparently Gates is a little slower than Ginn so hopefully that helps...
 
Ginn seemed a bit indecisive once he got to the league...like he didn't trust his ankle.

Good point we got into this last night about S.Smith getting roasted by Gates......Vontae you feel more comfortable with going against speed. But S.Smith i don't even want to look.
