This is really funny. Two years ago Mike Dee told a bunch of us that the new Logo had been seen by only a couple of people and that Dan was one of them. Dee said that Marino told them the new logo had "knocked it out of the park". I never liked Dee and felt he was a freaking liar...I believe it now.
 
Please don't let this turn into another negative logo thread.. I'm used to it now, , and actually like it :up:
 
Miami Whales? Not sure I know of any whales with a bottle nose like that one. I think the new logo looks more like a dolphin than our previous cartoon. Another thing is, people like to say "it's not detailed enough" which is rediculous. NFL logos aren't meant to be detailed. Logos are nice, clean, and simple.
 
Dan has aged well. Probably can still throw it better than half the QBs in the league today.
 
They better keep this logo. I spent hundreds of dollars on new **** because of it.
 
If they went back to the 1972 look…which I thought they should have…I would not have an issue. I like these better than the angry Dolphin, with navy blue everywhere.
 
I prefer the new logo to the 98 logo. That being said, I do wish they would have kept the position of the dolphin the same as the old ones. At small sizes, the new logo looks like a mess because of the flipped tail. It looks like a swirl of toothpaste on a sea urchin or something. It looks fine blown up, but at small sizes it really looks awkward.
