CNNSI: Top Impact Rookies from 1977 (hint: no Dan)

big ben made it tho..... what a joke.... and i thought Zach had just as big a rookie impact as Urlacher.

I've finally accepted that non - miami fans know squat about the phins... this is why i gave up on everything but good ol finheaven.

I understand Dan doesn't need to be #1 in countdown, but some of the names in here makes the exclusion of Dan egregious.

This list is complete horse sh.. Vince Young and Ben Cheesburger?? Anybody who knows anything knows he broke the mold for rookie QBs playing well in their first year. Only Eric Dickerson has as much of an impact in their rookie year as Dan did. Maybe LT too.

Dan was an absolute stud in 83. That's all anybody ever talks about is 5 QB's getting taken ahead of him that year and how they blew it. Greatest rookie QB season by far.

VY debatable, Ben definitely belongs in there though. Going 13-0 as a starter in the regular season is good, no matter how much you discount his role.
