Great interview with coach Bryan Cox

LOVED him as a player. Lots of heart.

Good player where ever he was, let's see if he's a good coach.............

Bryan Cox was definitely one of my all-time favorite Dolphins. It broke my heart when he went elsewhere. The middle fingers in Buffalo was classic. Hopefully the defense will play with his same intensity.

He had his most success as a Jet and Pat, winning a SB in NE and coming close to a SB w/ us.

That’s pretty funny because while he was at Miami he made the pro bowl three times and had 31.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, 14 forced fumbles, 480 tackles and came within one game of the super bowl in 1992.
With Chicago, New York, New England and New Orleans he made zero pro bowls, had 20 sacks, 1 interception, 8 forced fumbles, 284 tackles and came within one game of the super bowl once with the Jets in 1998 and won it with the Pats in a diminished roll in 2001.

But I guess he had most of his success with NYJ and NE. :rolleyes2:

TEAM success. W/ the Jets he came close to a SB, w/ NE he won a SB, w/ Miami he made a title game but they got blown out at home and were never in that game. The jets led in the 2nd half at denver, he ahd a chance.

pro bowls are nice but they don't mean a heck of a lot, he played at a PB level in 1998 and was a key to us making the title game, he wasn't a great player for NE but was a valuable leader to help them win it.

No he did go to the championship game with miami first tho, but a jet fan wouldnt remember that ! Nice try, as you probably werent watching football back then when the jets were AWFUL. And he was hardly the same player after leaving miami. Your motive is troll driven, here. He's a dolphin, dude. We never missed him tho as Zach Thomas was far superior... to him and any jet LB in history.

I remember that but Miami was never in that game, they never had a chance to win it. In '98 we led by 10 in the 2nd half at Denver- we had a chance. I'm guessing you didn't watch that game by your misinformed post?

Yeah, i just started watching the jets the last 2 years- what did they do before 2009? please enlighten me?

nothing really, you didnt miss anything.

and your post was mis-informed bud, your acting like cox was on a bad team in miami and then was magically swept away to NE and NY. keep skewing things to fit your party pooping agenda.
