DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - If Ricky Williams makes a comeback, it will likely be with a new team.


Miami Dolphins coach Cam Cameron, speaking publicly about Williams' latest drug relapse for the first time Friday, all but slammed the door on a return by the troubled running back.

"I will not allow our fans to be let down by people that are not on our roster - not again," Cameron said. "It's my responsibility not to let that happen. We have the greatest fans in the game, and we've got men on our team that we're going to focus on."
 
Sometime our two former coaches could not do. Nice to hear for the team and fans, sad to hear that Ricky couldn't keep his butt straight.

Ok, RW is not on our roster. Cam won't talk about or worry about anyone unless he is someone on the roster...How does this quote say that "If Ricky Williams makes a comeback, it will likely be with a new team." I don't read it that way...But hey, he's not here and not going to be here until at least some time in Sept, so I'm not going to worry too much about him....
 
Ricky should go back to sleeping in a tent, he is toast.

Nicely Said... He has more of a "We are family and I won't let this team fail" mentality. The vibe is the best I've felt in years...
 
i'm liking Cam more and more everyday.......run, ricky, run is now a distant memory. What a waste of talent
