Well done in self analyzing. I always respect anyone who can change their stance in light of new evidence (in this case, evidence being lousy offense)

I appreciate analysis that doesn't end up being some analogue of "we didnt execute". That's coach speak for "I don't know. It seemed like a good idea at the time and maybe my players just suck." At least meantion what you didn't 'execute'. Was it blocking, play calling, ball carrier vision, assignment dedication? Be specific if you know what went wrong.

One of the remarks that was told of Gase upon his hire was that he is big into self-scouting. In other words, he scouts his own playcalling to stay away from any blatant tendacnies so there is little for defenses to go of off on a game to game basis.
