I agree he's respected by those fans who actually know football, but thanks to the legions of Favreites not enough respected him to vote him into the Pro Bowl.
 
i read an article about chad in the sun sentinel the other day.
it mentioned him giving homework assignments to henne and beck where they watch game films of competitors and report back with how they played on certain down and distance circumstances.

it also said that henne and beck both mentioned that they feel improved by learning from chad and that sometimes pennington even checks with them on the sidelines about something that happened while he was on the field.

the article really stressed pennington's dedication to preparing for games and that henne and beck are learning to do so as well, and noticing a positive difference in themselves because of it.
 
I'm glad Pennington is free of the Jets and can be respected for the amazing player he is. No doubt he is the best QB we had since Marino and his knowledge is on par with P. Manning.
 
how great is it going to be to watch pennington go into the house of pain, and rip the hearts out of the jets. They discarded him like garbage and the air is ripe for revenge.
 
I am glad he's with us now instead of having to play him twice a year.
 
You know if Favre was a Dolphin, he'd be sitting on the bench watching Chad!
 
When the Jets first cut Chad and some fans started with the, sign him! sign him!, I was like NO WAY! The guy sucks!!!! Man I don't think I was ever so wrong about a player in my life. I have become the biggest Chad Penninton fan. I'm happy he'll be here next year. When the guy retires, I hope he becomes an assistant coach with the fins. Chad is a true leader.

well when i heard about he signing of chad and go to see our roster I REALLY SAY YES GLAD WE GOT A PRO BOWL QB
