In his press conference today he mentioned alot of good stuff you want to hear. Stuff like he thinks the D is coming around and starting to understand the concept of team defense, they are pursuing better and tackling better and really covering each other to act as a total unit.

Some other points....Henne is a studying fool, he bought a computer and is watching film at home and is busting his hump and holding his own meetings. And the staff is giving him space to grow and not have to many voices in his ear. And TS said Henne looks like he can handle adversity well stating that he really didn't have a great game vs the Bills and bounced back and ripped the Jets

Roth is looking good bringing a good energy to practice hopefully it brings a new level for the entire D for the rest of the season. Sparano says he will take time for him get use to the physicality which is to be expected but hopefully he can make an impact soon.

Also he says he is happy that the team is physical following his blueprint of the way he wants to have this team to be on the field. But thinks consistency is still one thing he still wants to see more of.

And he takes responsibility for not getting Murphy up to the level he needed to be (VERY CLASSY unlike some coaches we know *cough* ryan *cough*). And is upset that they had to let him go but thinks the effort and background they had in Lyon from last year they have confidence in their decision.

We'll see about that... I'll continue to support Coach Sparano & Co. through and through, but the way they've played in the secondary, so far, has been pathetic. That being said, I hope I'm proved wrong on Sunday and throughout the rest of the season.

The defense has had two weeks to prepare. Good to hear the improvement in tackling. The safety play was improved in the Jets game it was the CB's that were off. Hopefully they are playing as a unit against the Saints. Remember they went through similar issues at the start of last season. The difference is that there is a lot more talent this year.

Also good to hear they are giving Henne space to grow. He is right about bouncing back against the Jets after Buffalo. Confidence was never an issue with him at Michigan. Looks as though Pennington has left a strong impression on him.

better to say it's coming together rather than it's falling apart a I speak.

I am glad to hear Henne is still holding meetings and such like Penny did. It seems he really learned a lot from Penny.

other than getting raped by the deep ball the D has been pretty good. i really dont see how that's gonna change though with bell and wilson at safety and is probably why the saints are TD favorites on the road.

we will find out soon enough, but really, don't put too much hope vs saints.

they are very very good. it doesn't mean our D sucks if they beat us bad
