In his latest column in the Miami Herald, Barry Jackson writes that "This Dolphins regime loves receiver Derek Hagan, and Travis Daniels has raved about Hagan's development this offseason, noting his improvement in breaking free from press coverage. But holding onto balls -- he had eight drops, 21 catches last year -- will be a concern until he proves it shouldn't be." (read the middle of the article).

He also said Don Shula stated that "Cam Cameron is what they need to get the offense going.''

Also in the article, UM could decide to move to Dolphin stadium soon. That could trigger a death date for the Marlins infield dirt (I hate that thing).

IMO Hagan has to look like the new Jerry Rice to beat Marty Booker, but fortunately for us, I'm not the coach.

:cooldude:

Hagan will likely replace Booker next season or possibly this season if he can really step up his play.

I hope Hagan is going to be around for a while. I think he will be a solid receiver for us.

Hagan is probably why Cameron is talking about Ginn as a KR only

Hagan's chops means no chance for Ginn at WR early on

but that is good news for us

keep Booker, when an NFC contender loses a WR to injury during the year we might score a 4th rounder for him

With inconsistent Chambers still starting we have to keep Booker until somebody else who can be reliable emerges, hopefully it will be Hagan.

I still say Ginn is either used a role similiar to how Hagan was used last year, or plays only PR/KR....

booker comes up with the big play, but has to take a play or more off after each one, due to some injury. I like Booker, but I think that we can do better. Having said that I say we keep him until a team needs a WR after a big injury and try to unload him. We will be a running team this year, yet we have more WR's then we know what to do with. With the progress of Hagan and Ginn's speed in the slot we would survive with out Booker.
