In the NFL today, almost every coach has seemed to branch off one man. Bill Walsh.
I mean the examples are everywhere. Andy Reid, Jon Gruden, Dick Jauron, Steve Marriuci, Mike Shannahan, Jeff Fisher, Denny Green, Gary Kubiak, Dick Nolan, Mike Nolan, Ray Rhodes, and i can go on...sadly...
Anyway, I've seen posts about how people are afraid our coordinators and assistants are going to leave for better jobs in the future, well that is the ultimate compliment for a coach. In fact, Saban himself is a deciple of a coach I'd rather not name aloud.
Capers, Linehan, Mularkey, Muschamp, Smith, Baggett...one of thems already gotten a new head coaching job, and eventually im betting the others will too. However, whats important now is to win with all this expereinced coaching.
do you think it'd be cool in 10 years to say "hey, that guy worked under saban at one point, him too..and him" Because niners fans sure can.
