what do you guys think about this? Quinn was gone, landry was gone. levi brown was still there, as was Ginn. I know Carriker is a great prospect, but they said the reasoning for us taking him was because "the dolphins dont know how long taylor will be around". Discuss.
 
what do i think,i;ll tell you what i think,i think their a bunch of paid toolbags that really do not have a clue as to what were going to do,,,the past two weeks the same two guys have said we would take 5 different players.
 
i would bet my house we dont take carriker. if brown or ginn are there and we dont take one of them then i bet we trade down.
 
Cold Pizza's ratings are floundering (as always), they are revamping the show once again with a move to California...for a show so desperate to make publicity I don't believe anything they say anymore.
 
i agree with what you all have said. McShay is a decent draft "expert" but the other guy they had on there is ignorant and doesnt have a clue as to what every team needs. I personally have a love hate relationship with mock drafts. i hate them because they are never right, and they are simply "educated guesses" but at the same time the people making them generally dont have enough knowledge about every team to make that educated guess. on the other hand i love them because its almost time for the draft.
Back on subject.... If we take Carriker, i think i will be mad. i would MUCH rather draft Levi Brown.
 
would rather take Willis if we go defense or Landry ( who probably wont be available at 9). If we truly are going more to a 3-4 full time, i see a need for a PB LB more than an above average DE (we already have one, Roth).

I value "Cold Pizza's" opinion on the draft as much as I would that of the "The View".

With the acquisition of Joey Porter (a QB killer) opposite of Jason Taylor, why would Miami pick a tweener at DE with questionable run stopping ability?

About as much nonsense as Miami picking Quinn to lead them to the promise land!
 
I HIGHLY doubt we take Karriker...if we did though I would not be disappointed by any means.

Absolute rubbish, those guys clearly don't have a clue. The one place where we really don't need to add a single player is the defensive line where we still have plenty of young promising linemen behind our star veterans. Cam Cameron said he'd never been on a team before that had as many d-linemen as the fins...
 
I think if we were trying to replace JT we would be targeting a guy like Gaines Adams.
 
That sound is the laws of physics breaking. A pendulum changing direction in mid swing. Didn't they say we were "closing in on Ginn" yesterday?
