i am watching cold pizza. and one of the guys skip (can't remember his last name) said he thinks miami is going to trade up to #2 and take jamarcus russell. let me know what all of you think about this. me personally, if we were to trade up to #2, i would want brady quinn. but thats just my opinion
 
yeah that would be better. but he may not be there at #6. i hope he is though.
 
why would you want Brady Quinn. Russel is the better of the two. i think that if miami trades up to 2 that they should definitly take Jemarcus Russel. And i have a feeling that Brady Quinn is the first overall pick in this year draft. So.. what happens then cause russel is gone at two.
 
i would even love if we got calvin at #2. then drafted a QB in round 2. i wouldn't mind drew stanton.
 
Another reason not to watch cold pizza for football info.
 
the thing I love most about the draft is... you don't know what will happen. Who would have thought Aaron Rodgers droped all the way down to what was it 24? and the theres the Matt Leinart thing last year...

Either way I don't think Randy reaches (including trading up) for anybody he doesn't truly feel isn't worth it..
 
yeah i still would have loved to get matt leinhart last year.
 
the draft analysis on espn from their reporters has gotten unterlly laughable and idiotic

Skip Bayless, a sensationalist asshat that can't be taken seriously. He spouts outlandish B.S. by the ton in the hopes that one piece will stick and make him look like a genius. This is actually one of his lighter statements though.

Regarding the trade possibility, it would cost way too much. We have too many holes to fill via draft and considering the number of calls Detroit is apparently fielding, it would cost us a lot of it. Sacrificing the draft, and thereby the stability of our team for years to come would be ******ed.
 
If we traded up to number two it had better be for Joe Thomas. It doesn't matter who the QB is with such a horrible left side of the O-Line.
 
skip is a *******... i really dont like him...

that being said hes not the first one to say this rumor... ive now heard it from 4 different sources about the dolphins trading to 2 for russell... interesting
