I'm not sure who the phone guest was but they said there were/will be 25 scouts at Matt Ryans Pro Day. This is the highest ever for an individual QB. They also went on and said Ryan is the best NFL quarterback prospect since Carson Palmer.

Ryan isn't my pick of choice and I really don't care much for Cowherd but I came away impressed and a bit hope full we draft him. They (sorry I didn't get the guests name) said there really is no downside to Ryan.

I have never watched Ryan play, so just have to go on what I hear.

With all the nice shinny fun stuff we have access to in the draft, Ryan and McFadden...I'm really hoping we don't draft a lineman. Sorry, but it's just the equivalent of getting a package of underwear on Christmas, you need them but what fun are they?
 
we need more people like Colin to get Ryan hype up to a crazy level

then we can trade down

With both underwear and linemen, both are worthless without a package worth protecting right? :hi5:
 
I hope we take one of the Longs....I am sure many experts think very highly of Matt Ryan but I can't see us risking an overall # 1 on him when there are a lot of question marks. Why not go for a sure thing in Jake or Chris Long and see what Beck and McCown can do? I just don't think Ryan is worth the risk, but I will leave it up to Parcells and Ireland.

Ronnie's not worth protecting?

Even if your not a Beck fan I would hope, as a Dolphins fan, you would want good protection for our Qb.
 
This is great news, Atlanta is going to get very nervous now, and even though it is going to be pretty doubtful we take Ryan, now Atlanta might have to trade with us if they want a chance at him. :up:
 
After today we are going to hear Ryan is the greatest QB of all time. He is going to WOW everyone at his pro day throwing to his receivers and inside a dome.
The reason so many scouts are there is because he was to ***** to throw at the combine where he would have looked like all the other QB's in the draft. That Brady Quinn hype would have been flushed away. Cant say I blame him because in the end its all about the $$.

Absolutely. I'm always of the opinion that besides QB a team's success begins and ends with the O and D lines. I just couldn't resist the opportunity to make a underwear joke / innuendo.

Thats what Im talking about!

And I bet 25 scouts were there because he "could" slip far if ATL takes someone else.
