How did the Dolphins win in San Diego? Because Nick Saban is sharper than the rest of the NFL. With the talent he has on a team that was supposed to only win four games, the fact that Miami is 6-7 and will likely finish 8-8 is remarkable. Colin says Saban and Charlie Weis are his NFL and College Coaches of the Year

i heard this yesterday and i agree but saban will not get it if colts go unbeatin

Yeah, i heard that yesterday too. However, i think our talent is underrated. we have one of the best d-lines in the league imo. The o-line is playing good, we have a great TE and a good WR core just lacking depth.

Just wait til Saban gets a couple of drafts under his belt with players he knows all about. I love this guy and the fact that we got him is truly a blessing.

Agree. But we all know who has the better coach.

keep in mind that it's called 'coach of the year' because of coaching, not team of the year because of record. also consider the job done throughout the whole 'year' vs. part of the season. not saying it's definitely Saban vs. any other, but you have to keep it in perspective.

Tony Dungy is coach of the year. Lovie Smith is probably a far second. Mike Tice should be considered too, since that team was essentially dead on its feet several weeks ago.

Saban will be good, really good. But let's give the other guys their props too, they deserve it.

Theres simply no question that its Dungy's award. The Colts are the class of the league right now and Dungy is doing a great job coaching that team. They have had some horrific playoff loses in recent years and the team comesback hungrier and more motivated, other teams would have quit. Hes lucky to have Manning but he has turned that defense into a great one and the team plays tough, error free ball. Dungy is a great coach.
I love Saban, Im so glad we got him here, he is coaching his *** off and the team is noticably better than last year, thats incredible.
Where are the chicken littles calling him Spurrier Redux, the Chambers haters (I admit to being frustrated with him at times), Brown is a Bust "fans" now? Dont think theres too many rocks big enough for all of them to hide under.
