I read on another forum that Colledge took himself out of the game and was sufferi9ng from a migraine headache, which are almost unbearable. The poster is very reliable. Anyone else hear this?

It was on the broadcast and twitter yesterday. Could well be true. Either way he sucked

Head injury for Colledge: Starting left guard Daryn Colledge was knocked out of the game in the first half due to migraines and head symptoms, according to the team, and didn't return. Colledge will have to be evaluated for a concussion to determine his status next week.

Before one snap you can visibly see Daryn Colledge walking with a wobble on the field, which hints that the migraine issue might be real.

I can't imagine being in sunlight with a migraine much less playing football. I have only had 3 really bad migraines in my life but they get so bad the swelling puts pressure on the optic nerve and I lose my vision. Any light makes it much worse. He has played so well and then comes out and plays that bad it would make sense. I can't imagine even trying to play with a migraine. When I heard that Percy Harvin played with them I always thought they must not be bad ones. I can't even see how getting to the stadium would be possible much less playing with one.

If you are hurt and as a result are a liability, its your responsibility to take yourself out of the game.

I don't know the degree but, suffered from those 25 years ago. They are unbelievable, and had to lay in a blacked out room. A hint of light was a mini sun, and any noise like a sonic boom, although I'm sure they are much better treated now.

its how the professional ones do.
I can't say I've ever had a migraine, given how I've heard them described here and elsewhere. They sure sound disabling. Perhaps they also affect reasoning power too? I think we could maybe give him a pass on this one.

Finheaven giving a player a pass? Interesting concept to consider.
