after watching coverage of the college all star challenge on espn two I was wondering what some of your guys' thoughts were on these athletes who competed.

Personally, I thought the ppl that stood out the most were drew stanton for the qb's. greg olson for the receivers and the ucla kicker.

I think stanton won two events, the accuracy and the obstacle course.
he was lights out in the accuracy contest and narrowly won the other.
I think in the long arm challenge he was third behind leak and smith with like a 63 ish yard toss. smith threw it 71 or 73, that was awesome to see.

greg olson is just impressing me more and more every time I see him. He has a great set of hands and great footwork from what I can tell.
the contest that meachem won, I think olsen would have had if the balls had been coming his way faster. the WR obstacle course olsen won, he said he was glad he got hooked up with stanton. no drops though, that was nice to see. How do you think he would fare heads up against mcmike??

I forget the ucla kickers name, but he has a strong leg and is very accurate.
I was really disappointed with crosby, totally sucked in the first challenge shanking his first two kicks and scoring zero points. and in the last one, missed three our four kicks I think.
plus it was kind of fun watching a left boot em, think he would look good in a phins uni????

those are my observations, what do you guys think?

I was most impressed with Stanton, Olsen and Robert Meachem.

The Auburn kicker woulda made his kick if Herbie woulda shut up.

I liked meachem too actually. What would be the odds of us landing if we traded down with somebody. I think he is predicted to go mid first round.
If we traded down to say 20 or so, would we still go WR?
He looks like he's a physical guy.

when is olsen going to go. early 2nd. I have heard he will be the first TE taken. I haven't been impressed with randy mcmike the last couple years really. How expensive is he getting to be anyway?

How bad is crosby hurting himself. All the guys said the whole time was whether or not mason can kick without the altitude adjustment. He was way short on his 55 yarder on the last challenge.

Meachem is the real deal imo, it depends on the combine, but kiper has him going 25th overall. Olsen will be the first TE taken, some people have him going in the third some in the first, id probably say second, but again, combine. As for Mason, he has in no way hurt himself, this guy is the real deal at kicker, he has the opportunity to go early second round, he's that good.

Justin Medlock-UCLA

i watched him for 4 years. He has a strong leg and very accurate like you said. I would love for Miami to draft him, the kid is money

Medlock, Meachem and Stanton looked the most impressive.

Stanton, showed the best touch of all the quarterbacks, and i was kind of suprised that Olsen can move that good.

Yea, Stanton looked the best out of the QBs. It will be interesting to see if his stock catches fire like Cutler's did at the combine.

Stanton was impressive especially his accuracy at the end of the obstacle course when you have to turn the corner and step over the step over dummies and throw at the target with out having your feet planted..awesome job for stanton and he also came in 2nd behind Troy Smith in the long distance throw Smith was 73yds and Stanton was 71 on his 2nd throw and 69yds on his 1st..while Smith didnt have to throw his 2nd throw cause he won but he threw it left handed just to finish the event..

It will. I posted this before, and I still think CHI takes him at the end of the 1st. Just one of those strong creepy feelings I get now and then.

Yea, it's way too early to buy into these mock drafts. There will be considerable changes to them after the start of FA and the Combine as teams needs change. I don't think it would be too far fetched for Chicago to take him at the end of the first round, but it would be nice if he were there for our pick in the second.

That's why it was a "creepy" feeling that I had. Stanton is the only draftee so far that I'm actually set on.

 I'd like to see alot of those guys that were in that one draft day. Check the mock in my sig.
