La'el Collins' agent says his client is not meeting with NFL teams about his pro football future at this time.Collins, who is represented by Deryk Gilmore, is an undrafted free agent because NFL teams decided against selecting the former All-Southeastern Conference offensive tackle from LSU in last week's draft.
Collins was widely projected as a first-round choice. While he has not been named as a suspect or a person of interest in any crime, teams became apprehensive about drafting him when Baton Rouge Police said they wanted to interview Collins about the shooting death of a pregnant woman he knew.
Police say Collins has cooperated, answering all questions asked by investigators.
Collins may choose to play for any team willing to sign him.

Who knows whats going on, this to me is as big as any FA deal we have done. He has major value to him.
 
So who was Rex eating with last night?
 
i don't get it. that doesn't make any sense that he would want to intentionally duck meetings in regards to playing and making money this season and beyond.....

everytime i get excited about this kid another sketchy thing like this takes me two steps back....
 
Will his agent is trying to say it has nothing to due with his future, which is a lie. Im just trying to figure out why his agent is giving that quote.
 
He may be in official capacity, but that doesn't mean his friends can't take him out to dinner and discuss playing in Miami.

Either that or he has made his decision about who he wants to sign with and this is an attempt to shutdown other NFL teams from coming a knocking.
 
Maybe Sexy Rexy was only giving him one of his World famous foot massages, to relieve his stress?

Dolphins coach Joe Philbin is not visiting La'el Collins in Baton Rouge or anywhere else. Neither are Mike Tannenbaum nor Dennis Hickey.

Maybe he has not been cleared of anything and hes not allowed to leave the state. This is super weird.
