What about Nick Collins to replace Wilson as a FS next year? or Even Bell.
He has become one of the better play making FS in the game.

BTW if Atogwe gets the same amount this FA period or just over what Wilson got I am giong to lose my mind.

Probably 2nd best Cover FS in the NFL.
 
its wierd how green bay always finds good safetys butler, sharper , collins buffalo always finds good corners, pitt always finds good linebackers, or is it there system ? hmmmmm makes you wonder
 
What about Clemons? I think he's our Safety of the future.
 
Gibril Wilson sucks big time and both he and Yeremiah are too slow in pass coverage. Clemons has the speed that we need as a coverage safety
 
What's funny is Bell has the speed to catch up to a receiver who is flying up the field. Yet he doesn't have the speed to cover receivers? Hmmm
 
Taylor Mays will or more than likely should be drafted somewhere within the 1-15 range in the first round.


I must admit he'd be one helluva pickup though.

Not that impressive as some as you say.
 
Collins is a free safety so if we get him I would only want him to replace another FS. Im sick of signing these lpayers and making them play out of position like we are doing with Wilson and did with Allen (although who knows what Allen's true position is). It never works... Unless your a top echelon player like JT.
 
Call me crazy but I´ve always thought that safeties should cover firs. I would love Collins and/or Atogwe. It would cost a little bit more than Bell/Wilson. It would be worth it though.
 
fact is, we paid alot of money for wilson. if there is a cap, realising him would cause a huge cap hit. i like replacing him through the draft and that doesnt necesarily mean mays. best case scenario, chris clemons is good enough to be the starter. i say we give clemons a chance to play the rest of this year, see what we have.
