We used 1 4th round on protecting Tannehill. The J Train and a slew of talented receivers won't cut it if we don't have holes open or time to make a throw. What free agents are available? We can't go with basically the same line as last season !? God I wished Miami used our 6th rounder on Collins.........

And that 6th would have been a complete waste of a pick.

Collins agent said they wouldn't sign a contract if he wasn't picked in the first three rounds.

At least we drafted a guy who plays the position we need and didn't get cute and draft a project. Apparently thats the only position Douglas can play

We have a lot of holes and had a lot of money tied up in players that didn't deserve it. We unloaded bad contracts, gave money to the people who deserve and filled holes best we could through the draft. Can't undo the damage Ireland did in one year. We will need players to develop and step up. If they don't, we look to next year to filling in the prices. I do think we are close.

Trading for Mathis is really the only option that is a sure fire improvement.

I'd do it, develop Douglas and let Dallas Thomas keep the bench nice and toasty

We are NOT going to get every hole filled in one offseason.

This has been repeated at least 1 million times on this site, yet people don't take it seriously.

We will be able to REALLY compete next season when we find an upgrade at ILB, G and possibly DB.

We got an alpha WR, added good/great RB and DT depth and took a promising young G and DB this season. That's a pretty good haul if you ask me.

Well, we could always see how the guy we just drafted performs.

He's another underpowered, finesse project guy. I wouldn't get my hopes up for 2015. I din't know who it is in the organisation that values footwork so highly in our linemen, but it might be time we considered equally important attributes like leverage, core strength, punch and aggressiveness.

Lol anyone else feel these threads have different titles but the same content? All I keep seeing is:

"We should have used a 6th or 7th rd pick on Collins"
"Umm we didn't have a 6th or 7th rd pick to use"
"Collins agent said he wouldn't sign if drafted on day 3"
" the o-line is doomed since we didn't get Collins"

Yes but anyone who thinks they "know" anything because of a rotoworld report are just being ignorant. Im done debating it because it gets peoples panties in a bunch, but there is certainly an argument that we should have drafted him, and that Collins may have signed.

With that being said, as far as our line as it stands, I am extremely worried. We have a guy coming off major knee surgery, a guy whos barley played, and either Dallas Thomas or project 4th round pick penciled in as starters. And thats just the starters. Who is our depth?

We are one injury to Albert away from staring at a trainwreck of an O-Line. Keep your aqua colored glasses on if youd like, but thats the truth.
