I agree as much as I like Dan. My favorite QB ever. He really did nothing to defend us. In fact he laughed right along with them. Thats ok though. We will get back on track this week.

Instead of asking us to chill out, how about getting pissed off at the disrespect!?!

Is it really a disrespect?

If the Bills Brought in a brand new unproven QB, Travins Henry and Willis Mcgahee left the team, they brought in a new running back to be their starter that has been a number two back up to this point, that RB came to the Bills 1 week before the first game and their entire OL was new and so far has looked horrible you guys would be jumping all over the Bills and their fans. You'd be laughing them off of our boards if they said anything promising about their offense and you'd LYAO at any football writer that gave them any hopes of even going 8-8. True or False?

Hard to defend right now with all that has happenned. I honestly think Dan knew Wannsteadt wanted to keep Fiedler and knew it was going to be trouble if he took the job, and Dan just wanted no part of it. Dan I think would have wanted an overhaul and a new QB brought in as well instead of Fiedler and just decided with Wannsteadt their still, it would cause to much of a fight and turmoil and Dan rethunk it and decided not to take the position. Thats all speculatitive now, but I really do beleive that was a big part in Dan not eventually taking the job. Spielman was ready to let Fiedler go, and somehow Wannsteadt talked him into keeping him ! I really want to pull for Wannsteadt, but he has to give up on Fiedler and put the ball in the air more. --- One more thought on this. If Wannsteadt has to give up on Fiedler, in a sense its like he's saying, I was wrong about this guy, he didnt make it, so I think that is also why it is so hard to give up for Wannsteadt on Fiedler. Just my thoughts.........

Come on, the OL hasn't looked "horrible" since week 3 of the preseason. They've struggled but are still learning. I thought the Titans OL looked worse.

Poor choice of words.
They have looked the part of being very inexperienced and are questionable whether any of them besides Jeno James are really ready to be starters in the league yet. Do they have potential? Yes, but as of right now the OL unit has to be considered one of the worst because they haven't shown otherwise YET. That is the point.

That is false. I am sorry, but the 2001 Patriots looked like crap before they became the 2001 Patriots. Their first five games they did not look like anything special. In fact, Miami totally dominated them the first time they played. They were not an impressive team until they started to win. Before that, they had a joke of a coach, they had unimpressive wide recievers, they had a bad runningback and their probowl starting quarterback went down. They were not considered a Cinderella story because they were favored.

its funny how everyone is criticizing feeley without ever seeing him play. when the hawks gave up more for hasselbeck nobody in the media was this critical even though he got benched after starting.

Good point I completely forgat that..

OK, I guess you are right.
The Phins do not have glaring question marks across their entire offense and up into their coaching staff. The media has zero justification for questioning this team and they are in fact biased Phin haters. Is that better?

What bothered me a lot was during the CBS Pregame show, they ripped on the Dolphins not only game wise, but said Dan got out of there when he should've, and Dan just laughed. That just seemed disrespectful when he doesn't defend the organization that he was with for all those years. Granted, I still love the guy, but, it hurts.

Yeah, Dan should represent the jersey that he wore and the team he was with. I don't care that he isn't with the organization now, he should still be homer being as he's gonna be a Dolphin when he's inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Again guys, if Dan just laughed maybe he really does not agree with a lot of what is going on in this franchise. Possibility?

There are a few ex-players that think this team has been run into the ground with the current coaching regime.

I understand that, but I can still hold a sentiment of disapointment towards him. I'm not in his shoes so I don't know what's running through his mind. But, I myself just didn't agree with his joining in with the laughing.

If you care about something greatly like I'm sure Dan does about the Dolphins, you don't stand around and cheer while it gets run into the ground.... if in fact he were to believe that is the case.
