Colts give Jonathan Taylor permission to be Traded

Turncoat Coward can say these things because he doesn't own the responsibility of finding a replacement for Tua if he isn't extended and retained.

I mean, who does Coward think is going to QB the team when Tua leaves (under his scenario)? Miami isn't likely going to have a very high 1st round pick in 2024 and trading assets for Jonathan Taylor further limits their options in finding another QB. Is there a no-brainer upgrade that's going to be available as an unrestricted FA that the Dolphins can afford in 2024???

Coward never thinks things through. :poke:

Most of all, he's wrong about Tua not being extended if he has a big season. That's just his ego not wanting to come off his poor take.
The only way I see Tua not getting extended is if he gets hurt again this year and next.

I hope I’m wrong on this….But I don’t think the deal gets done. Just a hunch.

Cowherd says we can trade for Taylor and afford him becuase we have no interest in giving Tua an extension. Says Tua will not be extended even if he makes a probowl due to his concussion issues and that no team will ever give him a big contract

🙄
Yet another stupid comment from Cowherd. The Miami Dolphins have struggled to find a really good QB since Dan Marino retired like 24 years ago and now that we have one in Tua, we have no interest in giving him an extension. Absolute stupid comment of the day.

I’m just in a good mood and love football

The expectation is Miami's 1st round pick will fall into the later part of round one. I can except that if Indianapolis is willing to trade a pick back to Miami.
