Colts give Jonathan Taylor permission to be Traded

And when Tua wins multiple SBs while Herbert chokes we'll be happy you weren't the GM.
Try to take your emotions out of your responses. It is a bit childish at best. I stated my reasons based on Tua's durability issues and nothing more. Even Tua might be a bit uncomfortable with your little childish outburst. Let's keep this on a mature level please.

Just for argument sake money wise…releasing X post June 2024 saves 18.5…..pre June 2024 ogbah 13.8… cedrick (if not dealt for JT package which would be awesome) 7 and change….Tua extension can have lower first year cap number same with CW…just saying for arguments sake there’s ways of extending the window 2-3 years (Ramsey cut in another 2 years with cam and kader ready) with this group and making this work. Whether you agree with it is another story.

Of course I'm trying to be humorous. Iggy has zero trade value.

why so serious GIF
Not sure why you would want to as it stands today.

This was my first thought as well. Of course, any fan of any team would want Taylor. He's fantastic.

But you've got to weigh the cost. Miami has some tough decisions looming. I would make sure to nail down a deal for Wilkins. What he means to the defense would be extremely hard to replace.

The Dolphins can win with this group of running backs IMO.
Agree if we keep Mostert and Wilson fit then they can combine for 1800 yards.
Achane contribute to special teams.
Wilkins is simply a must keep trenches defensive Lineman our d would turn to **** without him

Would be great if Greer can make something like that happen, but I don’t think the Colts would let Taylor go for anything less than a 1st round pick plus more. Maybe including Wilkins plus a lower pick in the draft? Would hate parting with Wilkins, but Taylor is one special player.
I prefer Wilkins over Taylor. Wilkins has gotten better every year since he was drafted. Taylor on the other hand
missed 6 games due to injury last year and started this preseason on PUP.

Wilkins is the heart of the Dolphins defense and a great teammate. Taylor would just be another skill position player on an offense that is centered around Tua, Hill, Waddle and the passing game.

I just don’t see the need for another RB on this roster but I certainly see the need for Wilkins on the defensive line.

What trade Iggy? I think he's pretty much a wash with anyone we could pick up off a practice squad. And maybe I'm being a little hyperbolic, but even if he was slightly better (anything more that that would be generous), just never having to see him out on the field reminding us every time that we wasted a 1st round pick on him would be worth.
