it's my opinion ofc and the facts are Grier makes things happen fairly quickly, maybe not always but pretty often. They have also said they like the current stable yet have shown interest in Swift, Cook, and now JT. I think they are bargain-hunting for an elite RB. This is wise to do as you always want to better the team under certain restraints. We don't have much ammo but are in win now mode. Time will tell.
 
We’re gonna trade them a day 3 pick, to rent him for the year with no guarantee of resigning him.

Risk/reward - why not. Maybe he wants to stay with us, maybe not. We could franchise him, or just then trade him next offseason to someone else after we win a Super Bowl. 😎
 
If this deal happens I think we are real contenders and we could have an epic offense if Tua plays all season. I also think this deal could mean we are ready to let some expensive players part on the short term (2024-2025) Im thinking C Williams, Howard, Ramsey, Armstead, Sieler, Baker and Ogbah. We should concentrate on keeping our core players in Waddle, Hill, Tua and then Taylor. On defense Phillips, Holland, Wilkins and Kader.

Why trade those assets for half a year (if that) for Ramsey? :/
