Colts give Jonathan Taylor permission to be Traded

Sorry if my comment offends you but the fact is there are some posters who do seem to have a limited knowledge when it comes to the game. That doesn’t make them bad fans but sometimes I wonder if they really understand the importance some players actually have to the overall play of the team.
Thing is, NFL coaches dont even agree on values to team success.

Do we have people that are completely talking out of their asses sometimes? Yes.

But we also have people that are willing to state unpopular views that could play out either way.

Are we there yet?

Agreed. Grier acts quickly on trades and doesn't twiddle his nuts for long. Hill, Chubb, Ramsey and the 2021 Draft trades all happened seemingly out of nowhere with very little rumors being spread. If the media "knows about it" and Grier hasn't made a trade within 48 hours, you can safely assume it's probably a longshot given the guy's track record.
Reports are that Grier did act quickly and offered a trade deal that the Colts rejected. The Colts are obviously looking for a better deal than Grier offered. So we will just have to wait and see if Grier is able to find a deal they like or another team gives the Colts a deal that Is better than Grier offers them.

The Colts really hold all the cards in this situation and you can’t blame them for wanting the best deal they can get if they do trade Taylor. Especially when reports state that the Dolphins are only one of a few teams interested in trading for Taylor.

This trade isn't going to happen unless Miami, meets the Colts demands. They ain't budging, it kind of feels like, the Colts think, Miami is desperate. I never thought Grier would give up a 1st rounder for Chubb, but he did. So you never know, what he might be thinking.

I'm confused how the Dolphins TS was in Indy giving Taylor a physical when Taylor was physically in Philly at the game and has been there for the past three days. They get the wrong Taylor?
erroneous reports are the norm. Only believe it when ink is dry. Like others have said, Grier pulls the trigger quickly, or he locks it away.

Disagree. Taylor holds the cards. All the colts can really do is IR him for the year then if they were really foolish waste a ton of money paying him on tag next year. This is the year they can get compensation for him.

After seeing how they handled the Cook situation, I suspect they’ll only do a deal that’s works for us. They are trying to poach Taylor, not go all-in.

First rounder won’t be on the table unless Indys second is coming back to us.

Indeed, not sure why people keep posting that tweet though. The poster didn't really use their brain to process that whole thought. (Not the FH posters, the X poster).
