Colts give Jonathan Taylor permission to be Traded

From NFL.com

Basically, in order to accrue a season, the player needs to be on the team's active/inactive list, injured reserve or reserve PUP for at least six regular-season games in a given season. Credited seasons: Used as a measure for many benefits, it's most notably utilized to determine a player's minimum salary.

Which list would he not be on?

I really hope Achane works out. But early on and it’s early, I don’t know how anyone sees him as a primary back.
You have been saying Achane would be a bust for some time now. Yet I don’t think anyone is saying he is going to be the Dolphins primary back. I think most posters see him as a change of pace RB who will play behind Mostert and Wilson Jr. and personally I believe he can be very effective in that role.

We will just have to wait and see how effective he is will be with the Dolphins. Yet unlike you, I don’t consider a player a bust until he actually plays during the regular season and can’t get the job done.

I think the opposite. Phins are in a superior bargaining position. JT doesn’t wwnt to be there and will probably sit out. Grier can just sit back and watch all the drama to play out in Indy until they cave.
Im not sure how it would be the opposite when reports are that we made a very reasonable offer already.

If the Colts accepted, the deal would be done.

No, Irsay is backpeddling. He tried to use other RB contracts against JT and said, if you dont like our offer, find someone that will beat it.

Now he would rather keep JT.

I believe that is very likely what has happened. At this time, I think it is more likely he ends up remaining with the Colts than it is he ends up getting traded to any other team.

Unless a team just gives them an offer they can’t refuse, I expect him to remain with the Colts for now. They might try to trade him before the trade deadline during the season if he continues to demand a trade but right now they may just feel they can’t get what they want for him.
