I’d honestly be surprised if the Colts traded him for less than the equivalent of a first. They actually have a lot of leverage. They can franchise him next year too. They have a good cap situation and indications have been they’ve been planning financially to resign both JT and Pittman - so franchise money isn’t an issue.

WR room is weak, but what they are missing is a true #1 unless Pittman takes a leap in a contract year. I don’t think Wilson moves the needle for the Colts.

Unfortunately I think he stays with the Colts - between the teams asking price and JTs contract demands I think the cost is too high. Even for a player of JTs caliber. RB shelf life is too short and they are too easily replaced. Personally I’d take a 2 and a 4 and move on. I don’t think Colts will though.

The Colts are in a bad position. They have a star RB, but he doesn’t want to play in Indianapolis. He would probably change his tune if you gave him a long term deal. It doesn’t seem like that is a possibility. The result is he resents the organization for not doing what he wants them to do. Miami would give him a raise this year and a 3 or 4 year deal. He wants to go, but the Colts are holding out for more draft capital. This makes Taylor resent them even more. In the end, you either trade him or get a very unhappy player.

I’m basically the opposite. Grew up in Hudson County and now I’m in what I’d consider south Jersey (not too far south, though).

People rave about Wawa but I just don't get it. If I want a sandwich there's a million Mom and Pop sub shops and delis up here. I see no reason to go a chain place which is always lower quality.

It's just like I don't understand how chain pizza places like Dominos and Pizza Hut survive in NJ. Who is eating that garbage? I can see people in states outside of NJ going to places like that, because the pizza is terrible in those places no matter where you go, but in NJ you can't go 10 feet in any direction without finding a quality pizza place.

For what it's worth, I started in Miami, moved to South Jersey for a big chunk of my life, lived in North Jersey when I worked in Manhattan, then the Poconos, now back in FL on the Gulf Coast...and apparently I'm a hurricane magnet.

Dominos and Pizza Hut is all about convenience.

Wawa's hoagies used to be much better than they are today (heck, I used to make them in a couple different stores), but they're still a step above a burger joint. They're usually pretty clean, you can go in, get everything you need in less than 5 minutes, gas up, and get the heck out of there.

Yup, that's the south Jersey in you.

North NJ and South NJ are like two different worlds, with Central NJ being a mixture of the two. I remember stopping at a south Jersey deli in the morning and ordering a Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese on a Hard Roll, and the guy looked at me confused for a second then said "You mean a Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese on a Kaiser Bun?" Same exact thing, but two different names depending on what part of the state you're in.

Or the first time I travelled to Florida and asked for a Pork Roll sandwich, being completely oblivious to the fact at the time that the other 49 states pretty much have no clue what Pork Roll is. My conversation with the man behind the counter, verbatim, went like this....

Me: "Can I get a Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese?"

Other Guy: (With a confused look on his face) "Pork What?"

Me: "Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese."

Other Guy: "What's that?"

Me: "You know, Pork Roll.....Taylor Ham."

Other Guy: (Face lights up) "Oh! Ham! We have ham!"

Me: "Not ham, Taylor Ham. Pork Roll."

Other Guy: "Is that some sort of ethnic food?"

Me: (Shaking my head in hungry and hungover frustration)

Other Guy: "Let me get my manager."

Me: Never mind. I'll take a Bacon, Egg and Cheese."


I literally had no idea that Pork Roll was a regional food and mostly unknown to the rest of the breakfast eating world.
