I think it's a self-made deadline by the Colts since final rosters are due. They need to decide whether or not to put him on IR then.

It sounds like the injury is being exaggerated so he doesn't have to practice, so I assume if a deal gets done this won't be an issue. I also have no idea, so there's that too...
