Colts give Jonathan Taylor permission to be Traded

I am not convinced Taylor is fully recovered from his ankle surgery. I also have no desire to see Wilkins possibly leave the Dolphins in free agency.

I certainly understand the desire to have a healthy Taylor in the Dolphins backfield but I guess I am fine With the RB’s now on the roster and don’t see RB as a big need at this time.

Now if they were trying to trade for a top 3 offensive lineman, then I would be excited about trading for that player.

I'm with you here. Something seems off with the Taylor business. He's either not fully healed or the long-term prognosis isn't the best.

He and his agent seem hell-bent on getting the last big contract they can now before his health status drastically deteriorates.

All speculation ofcourse..

Seems like a buyer-beware kinda of deal.

That’s been my best guess from Indy, but it’s admittedly just a guess. He took a 180 in his stance around April. He also had 3-4 days away from the team during camp to seek treatment away from the team. There have been rumors it was stem cell treatment. All just rumors though - nothing concrete.

The other possibility is that after the RB zoom call he was selected to push the RB market needle for everyone. That’s another viable explanation.

We are about to sign a running back? Says anyone that pays $8/month.
