Colts give Jonathan Taylor permission to be Traded

Come on Grier.

In my dynasty league I offered Ekeler plus a draft pik next year for Taylor.

It's in review status. I need to know if I'm hitting "send proposal"or not.

Looking forward to him joining Tua/Waddle and Hill on my team

Oh. Okay, if you're going to go that road...lace 'em up, Skippy.

While I'm not claiming to know the inner workings of Benjamin Allbright's and Ian Rapoport's minds, I do know quite a bit about journalism. And I understand that established journalists are established for a reason.

So while YOU might have no idea about what they stand for and represent, I do. And some journalists (say for example, Allbright and Rapoport) are given legitimate information due to their relationships. Despite what you might think, it isn't always a wink and a nod and back-room deals.

I mean, heck, let's look into what you're suggesting. Let's not trust any source, because they're not actually Jonathan Taylor's agent, so their sources are suspect, right?

Heck, let's question everything. TV reports? Hogwash. Game scores? Naaaaah...we have NO IDEA what happened, unless we were actually there! Because we have no idea what the reporters have to gain or lose, right?

Or, maybe, just maybe, Rapoport knows what he's talking about when he says there are at least two teams actively trying to trade for Taylor. I believe that makes more sense to the "non batshit crazy" group than questioning Rapoport's motives.
I actually was a journalist. When someone on Twitter says they have sources, they are referring to someone else on Twitter. That isn’t sourced. Sourced means something entirely different to a trained journalist. I agree with you that you aren’t hearing ish from credible sources like Rapoport, other than what you referred to. What tgey are giving us is sourced. We have an offer on the table and are negotiating. Now apparently there’s another team doing the same. That’s all we really know as fact. The rest is just noise. Here’s another fact. Irsay will find a way to F this entire thing up because he’s Irsay.

This is absolutely, 100% not accurate.

While I respect that you were a journalist, it simply isn't always the case. Is it the case sometimes? Sure.

Another so called insider I have never heard of. I’ll only believe it if I see MCDaniel or Grier report it. Otherwise all these so called insiders are nothing but clickbate.
Agree. Where are all these people coming from? And who keeps digging up their opinions?

It is 100% accurate. For an actual journalist to claim he has sources and to put it out as news it requires multiple sources, not just some Joe on Twitter. Not only was I a working journalist in many mediums, but I went to a J school. If you read my comments again you will see I was agreeing with you on Rapoport.

Everyone on Twit is a self professed journalist. They know they will always be 50% right so why not go out on a limb and flip a coin. If they’re wrong they can claim theur source gave them bad info or changed their mind. Lol. Legit journalists may know what’s happening behind the scenes but if they cannot back it up with numerous sources their editors will kill it. That’s where the term “journalistic integrity” comes from.
