Colts give Jonathan Taylor permission to be Traded

Can't just look at it that way. If a team has no need at RB, they didn't pass over him because they missed, they didn't need him. I get what you are saying, others did miss also.
The Dolphins biggest needs going into the 2020 draft was at QB and the offensive line. They drafted Tua, Jackson, and Hunt with 3 of their picks instead of Taylor.

The Iggy pick never made sense at the time but I think that was Grier giving Flores the player he wanted with that pick. Flores never seemed to value the RB position because he came from New England where the RB‘s were generally not high draft picks. He was more about the defense and after using the first two first round picks on the offense, I just think Flores convinced Grier to use the third first round pick on defense and it ended up being Iggy.

Grier and Flores had both gone to Auburn a few weeks before the draft and that is supposedly when Flores decided he wanted Grier to draft Iggy it possible.

I was hoping at the time they would draft Taylor or Swift because I thought RB was a big need too. Yet I can’t dwell on what happened in the past. I prefer to look to the future.

NP. Yeah they’re on Twitter, but the difference with those dudes is they are accountable to an actual editor (I was also one of those at a TV news station in NC), who requires more than one source. Anyone on Twitter can claim whatever the hell they want but I’d stick with credible NFL guys like Rapoport and Dov Kleiman or from the Miami Herald.

Of course; that was mostly my point to begin with - I was using Benjamin Allbright and Ian Rapoport as examples.

I am more of an “I told you so” guy
