Do you the Indianapolis Colts will stop playing Peyton Manning and Edgerrin James in further games once they know they won the divison?
 
Nope....They will make sure they go 16-0. They have come to far to not try and go for the perfect season.

I thought their secondary played every week!:lol:
 
I think they will only play them in the second half of the last two games. However, I believe they are playing seattle and arizona. The colts could beat arizona with their bench. By the time that game comes around, seattle may have nothing to play for either. Thus, they would rest alexander. Whether they rest their stars or not, I think they will still go undefeated.
 
If they lose a game then as soon as they lose that game, there after they rest Manning and Edge.
 
Once they clinch the #1 seed, Dungy said they would start the 2nd string players. He's not going to risk injury, and he's smart not to. The Colts have a very good chance to win the Super Bowl this year, and that's more important than going undefeated.....

True words spoken. Imagine the *** ripping that would occur if they went for 16-0 and Peyton went down with an injury that kept him out for the playoffs. Dungy would be doing the press conference with a classic Wanny face!
 
I don't think they will play their secondary... they'll need to rest.
