Colts release Dallas Clark. Do you want him?

Clark was just released, along with more gutting of the Colts roster (Addai, Brackett, Bullitt, and Painter). Wow.

My question to Dolphins fans... do you want him? He was a beast in his prime... but he's a bit past it maybe, and also has had injury concerns recently. But he went to a Pro Bowl in 2010, he's still got a lot left, and it would obviously sweeten the deal for Manning. Do you want him? And if so, how much are you willing to give up for him?
 
Colts released TE Dallas Clark, RB Joseph Addai, MLB Gary Brackett, and SS Melvin Bullitt.

Clark turns 33 before the season, can't stay healthy, and was an absolute nightmare when he did see the field in 2011, dropping passes left and right and getting exposed in lame attempts as a blocker. He may generate some interest in free agency, but very well might be done. The rest of the moves represent a full-on house cleaning by the franchise. Addai, Brackett, and Bullitt were all overpriced and do not fit into the plans of Chuck Pagano and Ryan Grigson.
 
If we get Peyton, I would say take him if he is willing to play for vet minimum. We don't have a ton of money to spend in FA, and Manning or Flynn will take a big chunk of what is left. We have other holes to fill!
 
If he'd sign for the Vet-Min, and it would make Peyton happy, then I don't care if he ever plays a down... Sign him.
 
If he's not too pricey. But if he is, I wouldn't mind bringing in his backup, Jacob Tamme. When Dallas Clark missed a ton of games a couple of years ago, Tamme stepped in and pretty much produced the same. I'd imagine we could get him cheaper.
 
I met him at the Super Bowl and he was the nicest guy to the fans by far. That being said, if Peyton wants him, yes.
 
You can't sign every tom dick and harry from the colts just for Peyton. Clark isn't the player of old, he's just old now.


NO TO CLARK! And I think Fasano is trash. So that is saying something.
