i was referring to the convict thing. just a joke. is not like you are disguising yourself as a choir boy

I've never been the type of convict you're talking about. I'm a college student. The name symbolizes a few mistakes I made when I was younger, which I look at as an ex-con of my own stupidity/immaturity(fortunately changed my ways before it ever went noticed) in my younger days. Long story, wrong place to explain it.

But I got the humor, which is why I played along. :)

Last year was Doss's third year. He is still very young. He started but I'm pretty sure he got hurt last year and only played 10 games. He is being shopped because he has had some off-field concerns. I think this kid is gunna be good, but it is just my opinion. I havent watched him extensivly and was hoping someone on here might have seen him more.

Nasty

Yeah my point was that if he were going to be good, a team like the Colts who have had such poor defense in the last few years would also look past that and forgive him.

I know, but he has gotten into trouble a couple of times now and I think the Colts patience has just grown thin with him. He isnt a promising superstar or anything, but he is just a kid with alot of potential and still very young. We keep talkin about adding "youth" to our D and he would provide exactly that.

How much do you guys think they would be asking for??

Nasty

Gotta love those Ohio State boys. Had to take a stab on account of me being a still relatively bitter UM fan.
That aside. I would take him, but I would not give up much for him. I think Saban kinda likes guys with questionable character Crowder, Roth, Elam, Ricky. Not that I really have a problem with that, I have character issues as well. Maybe Saban thinks those kinda guys will be loyal to him because he is the one that gave them a shot.

I dont think he "likes guys with questionable character". I just think hes willing to do what he can to improve a team that was awful last year. Plus a lot of people make mistakes when theyre young and rich. Stupidity and arrogance seem to come with the territory for the majority cause our society places celebs and athletes on a pedastal. Most of the time though these types of problems dont last long especially in this league where character plays such a big role. Guys like Leonard Little who stay in football are the exception not the rule.

Did you intentionally say "gunna" after talking about his recent off field issues? He's facing felony gun charges, so I'm not too sure he's the type of guy you want on your team.

I saw him alot in college. He is not a fast guy, and I could never see him playing FS, but hes a very good SS. He hits like a truck, has good ball skills, and is just a playmaking type. He would be a nice pickup if he was avaliable cheap and didn't bring alot of drama and problems with him.

Did he even start for the Colts last year? If the Colts are shopping any defensive players around i'm gonna say they're not very good.

you are absolutely right...run away, run far away

I wouldnt mind picking him up,but we already have Jones at that position. Besides, i dont want a dude who just got arrested.
