We have to run 35 times in this game. Let Ronnie and Ricky run wild. Let our offensive line smash some heads and gain confidence and continuity by attacking them running the ball.

The Chargers were ripping some nice runs early in that game during the 1st half. Both of their TD's in the 1st half were runs.

Also notice the Chargers 1st drive in the game.. They were ripping some nice runs but they got away from it. Rivers was sacked when they tried to pass, and hit on another one.

Here is the game. Watch for yourself (the chargers ran all over them later in the game when they committed to the run)..

Look at the very first play how the Chargers offensive line was bowling them over like bowling pins.. The Colts D-linemen were falling over each other backwards at the very first play.

The coaches and players have preached all off season how we want to run the ball better. Well this is the game to do it.. Against an undersized Colts defensive front. I want to see at least 35 rushes in this game. We have to run it early and often. I want to see that undersized Colts defensive front sucking air in the 2nd half after being blasted for the entire first half.

The R&R Express should be in full force Monday night.

It's time for some SMASH MOUTH Miami Dolphins football folks.

Also notice how our defensive front totally shut down that same San Diego rushing attack. LT only had 35 yards against us last year. We can run on that Colts team, and we can run well if we commit to it and play hard-nosed football. It will also keep the Colts offense off the field with our defense fresh.

If our OL doesn't wake up, we can run 35 times and be lucky if we gain 35 yards.

We were running the ball pretty well last week against that undersized falcons defensive front. But we got away from it too early. And that didn't allow us to get into a proper rhythm with our backs early.

The Dolphins need to keep at it.. And allow the OLine to get into a rhythm. And let Ronnie and Ricky get into a rhythm running the ball early and often.

I wouldn't say that we ran pretty well...We just ran alright in my opinion. Both backs didn't even combine for 100.

On only 17 carries.. And therein lies the problem.

Those carries need to be doubled. It is ridiculous to give Ronnie just 4 carries in the 1st half like last week.

Ricky was running the ball well and was starting to get into a rhythm, then they ignored him and he wasn't in the game when it was still close. That was stupid.

How are your backs going to get into a good rhythm when they are used so sparingly ?

There is no reason to get away from the run in this game unless we are down big. Just pound R&R, use playaction when the time is right.
