I heard if Chargers run the table and we beat Ravens/Pitts that we'd host AFC Title game... HA HA HA!!! Go fins.

very true...hosting afc championship game would be sweet...but lets not get ahead of ourselves....just win tomorrow!!!

Yep. Colts were the only team I was actually afraid of. ... I think Fins can beat every other team left in the AFC playoffs. Now the biggest threat seems to be Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh. Though Tennessee in Tennessee could be tough. All that said, let's not look ahead just yet (even though I just looked up temperatures in TB in February. ... Just couldn't help myself!

Didn't really matter who won today in terms of homefield since we are a higher seed than both the Colts and Chargers.

We are the number three seed. If number one and number two get knocked out, we would host the games. Higher seed always hosts.

Didn't think about that... Still would rather face the Chargers at home. However still very much focused on tomorrow's game. I just can't sleep and thinking about everything right now. Including my childhood when I first called my uncle from New York and told him I'm watching Miami play the dolphins... This was when I was about 7... lol

i think r shot of hosting the afc championship game just went down alot bc i dont think that san diego will go into tennessee and win. i no they beat the colts tonight and i actually thought they would, but rivers looked very shakey in the pocket tonight against a colts defense which isnt even on the same level as tennessee. if rivers looks like that against tenn i can see him having a 3 int game and tenn winning easily.

Gonk is right- Dolphins are #3 seed. A #4 seed beating a #5 seed changes nothing for the Dolphins.

If you win[#3 seed], you play the #2 seed[Pitt]. #1 seed[Tenn] plays #4 seed[SD].

Rivers did a decent job. the key to the win tonight was that little 5'6" RB.

Was that LT's mini-me out there?

Anyway, it would be awesome to be able to host one more game this year but like it was said earlier. We still have two games before then.

Darren Sproles was great last night. He has always had great ability, but just burried behind Tomlinson and Turner the past few years. The guy can play and San Diego is much more dangerous with him playing well.

Lets worry about tomorrow! The Colts scared me as well. FOCUS ON TOMORROW!

LETS GO PHINS!

That was exactly gonk's point. We would host the Chargers or the Colts. No matter which team won, if they beat the Titans we would host the AFC Championship. So today made absolutely no difference for us.

Hey Guys- Sorry I haven't been around to enjoy the AFC East winning victory over the Jets with you, but the Holiday season had me on the run non-stop lol. As for the Wild Card game, I'm stoked!
I haven't been this nervous about a Dolphins game in a long time. The Ravens pose a formidable challenge, but this game is definitely winnable I don't care what those media scumbags say! I want to comment on the Dolphins' prospects of hosting the AFC Championship Game, but right now I'm so friggin nervous that I can't look past the Ravens. This is what it's all about. Thank you Parcells, Sparano, and Pennington for making football season fun again:)
