Combine Info...for Saturday

thats off a site buddy

Here's some news....everything here...is off a website. There's no pro-scouts here, there's no coach's here....just fans. Just enjoy the free info.

No CK Randy Moss' vert. was 40-41, Santana's I think around 40, and Chambers was definitely 45. I've never understood why we don't use his skills more. What's the point of giving Chambers the ball on such stupid routes where has no chance of making a big play.

Alex Barron...I'm starting to want Alex Barron...man...I mean, man. He's a FREAK!

His wingspan was a full 2 or 3 inches bigger than ANYONE ELSE MEASURED...he damn near BROKE the Cybex machine which measures leg strength (unofficially broke the combine record for results on the machine, see Len Pasquarelli's combine notes), and now he has a 35" vertical???

You do realize that Chris Chambers' vertical was considered to be sick and it was like, 37 inches or something like that.

Alex Barron, the leg drive, the wingspan, the frame, the pass protection, he's got EVERYTHING you could ask for! Why is it he's being considered a mid-first round pick? Because he's not "nasty"? God, Richmond Webb was a perennial pro bowler and he was never considered "nasty"

I've changed my mind about Barron. I think he could be every bit the dominator that Walter Jones is, and maybe with the right line coaching (see Houck, Hudson) every bit the dominator that Jonathon Ogden is.
