I dont like to jinx things, as I feel I often do, but if Harrington keeps up the pace he has going with this win streak, does he deserve the comeback player of the year award? Think about it, who else has played so bad his first years in the league, to turnaournd and win with a team in a tough division? I mean he is 4-3, and he did take over a team that was playing like the hurricanes.

I read an article somewhere that pretty much stated the same thing... I agree that if he does do this, he definitely deserves consideration for the award...

I dunno dude, Joey Harrington might be helping repair a broken team but Drew Brees is helping repair a broken city.

Definitely could be the candidate for overcoming the most adversity. You have to admire the way he handled the situation in Detroit never complaining always keeping his head up amongst possibly the most disgusting lack of support ever shown amongst players, coaches and fans.
Classy guy, great leader, team player, I really dont understand how anyone can dislike the guy.

He will get my vote!

Brees? Coming back from what?

Pennington may have a shot, but Joey has been playing better lately.

Well based on Brees' previous year, I do not feel he deserves it as he played very well last year, as he is now... However, with the seriousness of his injury, he should be considered... as well as Palmer... But those 2 guys had big years last year as well... To come back and perform at a much higher level than the last 4 years, after all the adversity, well that speaks volumes...

personally i feel like joey will have tremendous consideration if he improves...but i think that steve mcnair deserves it as of right now w/o a doubt. he may be engineering the best team in the nfl right now.

Brees won it once without coming back from anything

overall i think the competition for the award is too much for harrington unless maybe he wins a playoff game or have 5 games wit a QB rating of 90+++

Give it to the kid willya, he's a good kid. Let him water ya plants, willya he's a good kid won't ya let him water ya plants? Hey let him housesit for ya already will ya he's a good kid, won't ya let him watch ya house? C'mon on already let the kid QB for ya he's a good kid, won't ya let him QB for ya???
(Taken in variation from a skit from Saturday Night Live).

What in the hell has Joey Harrington come back from? He is not playing any differently then he did in Detriot. At all. The difference is he is playing on a team that can win when he makes those kind of mistakes, unlike in Detriot.

Uh, sort of a massive shoulder injury?

But what is Brees coming back from? A probowl or two?

I read a power ranking that said he should be considered for comeback player of the year and if he keeps up this pace then he does deserve it.

a shoulder injury that should have sidelined him for a season and a team that let him go?

Until Benson moves the team, which he was desperately trying to do.

Plus, what's Brees come back from?
