I find Jackson a good source for information, and usually think Salguero should be transfered to writing about gardening, or cosmetics. I see logic in each story, and they sort of argue the same point - that Martin isnt going to be there at 19 and we need to be prepared for that situation.
I cannot see us trading up, unless we include current rostered players (How often does that happen on draft day though?), because there is too much depth in this draft to give up multiple picks. I see a trade down as a better than average possibility, but that takes a willing partner needing to move up.
I love having a new person in charge of the decision making. I think Hickey and Philbin are closer in ideology than Ireland and Philbin were. JP and DH both like high character guys that work hard and are good citizens. I just hope they agree on good football players and finally turn this thing around
