Good gried. I can't believe the inconsistent comments about Harrington. He has been the victim of AT LEAST as many drops as he has bad passes. He's actually throwing the ball with aggression instead of dumping them off, so of course his comp. % will be lower. I'm impressed with Harrington. The way I see it is this: those guys who didn't like Harrington in the first place are going to remain close minded about him. It's really that simple. Harrington has gotten the team into the endzone in each of his appearances. Can't say that about every QB on the roster.
Harrington has been pretty consistent so far. His completion percentage isn't looking great but that IS because of drops and because of the fact that he is throwing fewer "easy" throws.
I was never a big Harrington fan, though I've always thought he had the tools to be a good pro. So far he is very impressive and deserves more credit than he has been getting. Everyone is so enamored with Culpepper that it's easy to overlook the fact that Joey could be a very good starter for a lot of teams. Any QB would have failed in Detroit.
