Marty Booker has put together his best season with the Dolphins, making the Adewale Ogunleye trade not look so lopsided. He caught eight passes for 103 yards and a TD.

Since when was this trade lopsided? What has Ogunleye done for the Bears since that trade? I'd almost venture to say he has descended into obscurity, while Booker has put together back to back solid seasons with the Fins. The comment just struck me as misguided.

Didn't Wale lead the Bears in sacks each of the past 2 years? I could be wrong.

Ogun, has 20.5 sacks in his three years with the Bears. That isn't great, but it isn't bad either.

We got Booker and Crowder in the trade, and with the way both are currently playing, we might actually have got the better end.

I'd say we got a pretty good deal. I know a lot on this forum don't like Booker, but he has been solid (especially this year) and Crowder is a stud!

The longer Marty has been here, the more comfortable he looks. I am surprised that we seem to be using him to stretch the field because his reputation has been a guy that you work underneath because he is so tough to bring down.

He is having a solid season. I don't see why so many here think he'll be cut. Even if he doesn't rework his contract to lessen the cap charge, we probably have enough room the next 2 years that it probably won't matter.

I agree that Booker is having his best year as a Dolphin but he had a lot of drops this year as well. Booker is not the fastest guy but he's tough and runs fairly disciplined routes.
