I love how on a Dolphins message board even, it's so suddenly en vogue to pick the Dolphins to finish last in their division. Very Very sad.

You'd rather it be en vogue to pick foolishly?

:rolleyes2

I disagree, Pennington is a very good Qb, and with his shoulder rehabbed, and with a very good offensive coordinator, he's not gonna hold them back.

Is his shoulder rehabbed? That is the million dollar question. Plus I believe he threw 2 red zone INT's this preseason (same game I believe). That is something he has never done before in his career. Yes, CAREER! I don't think his shoulder will ever be alright and throwing into the winds of the meadowlands, I don't see it as a good mix for him. I would load the box and dare him to throw it deep. I don't think he can on a consistent basis. He may only have 1 or 2 deep throws in that arm per week.

Not me. If the Patriots win then I just have to deal with the fans on the internet. But if the Panthers win, it will be an everday thing in person.

Don't care for predictions. But you have some facts wrong. You pick Indy 2nd in the AFC North because they are getting OLDER?

Indy is one of the youngest teams in the leaque. Last time I checked it was like 3rd youngest. Harrison is the only starter over 30.

JAcksonville may well win that division, it is doubtful though, but it won't be because Indy is getting OLDER!!!

I think he can, and he actually overthrew a wideout on a deep pattern this preseason, the game he 9/10, and Edwards was more impressed with that throw, than his other 9.

A better QB and the Jets can be a SB team? There aren't many better so who would they get?

LOL......there aren't many better? There are a TON better!

Im not saying throw the guy aside, but he isn't a QB who I feel will win a Super Bowl or take a team to a Super Bowl. I don't think he is all that good.

You put a Trent Green on the Jets or a Kerry Collins, somone with a bigger arm or someone who is more durable, and I think the Jets could make a run at a Super Bowl. I dont think the Jets will EVER make a run at a Super Bowl with Pennington.

There are many in his class but few better. I would only take 2 guys over him(Brady and Manning). Don't give me the overrated stat guy Culpepper, Green is another guy who has never won a playoff game, Bulger has a million weapons, Collins makes too many mistakes. Chad, wehn healthy, is a top 5 QB. His only full healthy year he was the 2nd best QB in the league(in '02 behind Gannon) so hopefully he has another injury free year and we see that ability again. Don't forget he was playing great before his injury last year as well.

Chad is pretty fragile. I would hate to have to rely on him, no offense.

Alexander can run all he wants, but Seattle just isn't a good team. They will be sub .500 in their division and will be lucky to get a wildcard spot.

I don't think he's fragile, he had 2 freak injuries and came back much quicker than he was supposed to each time. He's alot tougher than people give him credit for, we'll see what happens but hopefully he can be healthy all year.

I like Pennington and think he's very good, but Culpepper and McNabb are better players than he is. I don't think Trent Green is or Kerry Collins, I would put Pennington in a category right below McNabb/Brady/Culpepper/Manning, who I consider the elite Qb's in the league. If Pennington can stay healthy the Jets can win a SB as long as Martin does not slow down. Coles is a huge upgrade over Moss and Doug Jolley should help them out, but the AFC is soo good, it's really hard to make predictions right now.
