Commentary: 2005 Positional Grades: OL/DL

I do like the trade idea. I would adjust the players we takbe but overall, very nice article and very realistic trade.

Good analysis and love the mock. If watkins is gone another S to watch for is anthony smith

I was just reading the value chart and was wondering if the totals are right. Ive been up over 18hrs working and doing homework. The totals Im getting are different. Just wondering if Im just to tired to add right or if my totals are correct.

Thanks Ninja always read your articles even if I disagree with them. I like the trade down idea nad love the idea of Croyle who I think will be the best QB in this draft although Jacobs could be special. Whitehurts is a guy I just dont understand anybody really wanting, he has some skills but makes way too many mistakes. My current Mock would go like this.

1-16 If Cutler is there take him but I think T Justice is our pick. We have no elite OL and getting a top shelf guy would really improve our line.
Winston Justice.

2nd round. I'm Brodie Croyle all the way but I am worried his combine will move him late first. If not take Jacobs or wait and take a flyer on Drew Olson later in draft. I think there are only a few qb's that we should draft for this team. The top 3 guys, Croyle, Jacobs or Olson. Hackney is a midget and Pinnager seems good but arm is suspect.

3rd round.Devin Hester CB< WR or special teams Miami
One of the fastest guys in the draft and could really develop as a cb although needs a little bulk.

4th round- Roman Harper Ala
Played both safety positions and can be used as a nickel or dime back.

7th round Adam Jennings Fresno st Wr
Good special teamer that has potential at WR and is pretty tough for his size.

7B Kevin Simon Tenn OLB
Has some injury issues which help him fall this far but potentially could outplay his position of draft.

7c Antonio Malone Toledo CB
Physical defender that could go anywhere from round 2 to 7 but if he is here this late worth taking a look at.

Also I hate Moss's brother too early because of size but if he fell enough i would not complain although I see alot of bust potential in him.

Good catch! I accidently used the Broncos #29 pick value total which was 640 vice the correct total of 780 for pick #29. Still not enough to make the trade unattractive in my mind ... but then I am not the Broncos:D

1st #22 = 780
2nd #61 = 292
4th #118= 58
Total = 1130

i dunno if the mock draft is any good after moss, the rest of the drafties is totally unknown to me

Last time i checked we have 2 7th rounders and 1 6th
1st
2nd
3rd
4th
5th (Manuel Wright)
6th (From Packers for Greg Bedell)
6th (to SD for Lemon)
7th
7th (from bears)

So with your Trade Scenario we should have the following
1st (from Denver)
2nd
2nd (from Denver)
3rd
4th
4th (from Denver)
6th (from Packers)
7th
7th From Bears

Just thought you should know....

Still close enough that if I were Shannahan I would do it:D.
