Commentary: Dolphins win by breaking trends

Nice article, Doc. As always.

The only point I disagree with you on is Chambers; he always makes those ESPN-highlight catches. It's the easy third-down catch in his hands, when the team needs you to make it, that elude him.

And one game doesn't negate his years of trending toward a lack of focus and concentration. Let's see a whole season of both great and routine, clutch catches from Chambers before we say his malaise is past.

I have to disagree with one part of this post...lance shulters as a ballhawking safety?...If my memorie serves right he has very few interceptions in the last few years.Dont get me wrong he did a tremendous job last sunday..but he hasnt been a interception machine before he came here. Also i think it should be noted that this is more of a TEAM,seems that this might be one of those deals where some one different steps up each week, and makes a play that saves a win or ensures one.

Fair enough -- the numbers back up your point. But we need Schulters -- and the rest of the defense -- to continue the takeaway trend.
