Very good article.

I saw that same show on NFL network and it was very well done.

I think the media is an ever changing evolving blob of what they perceive the public wants to see and hear. If that blob does not present our hobby the way we want to hear it and read it, I think it will eventually revert back to what captured everyone in the first place.

"Give us indepth looks at the athletes as people, not an expose on how they pimped out their ride. " is my favorite line. I sw a feature on warrick dunn that was well done. I don't need just the feel good stories either i want in depth on micheal irvin through the drug problems, randy moss and his issues with the Vikes, and other stories. Save the Hoopla for console games and sportscenter topX highlights. I'm not saying that the broadcasts should be boring but i totally agree that its over the top now.

My favorite thing about the breaking news wave is when comapnies like MSNBC, ESPN, and others get had by fake websites or bogus reports it totally cracks me up. On the flip side it freaks me out when its about the phisn as i wasn't sure it was for real (ricky situation)
