Another good article, especially since you covered a little bit of everything. Interesting thoughts on Girardi, I think he'll be pretty good as manager. Hopefully the Marlins will continue to build up their coaching staff and team so they can finally take out the Braves. Also you're right about giving the ball more to Brown instead of Ricky (who I love) and also about trying to trade him because it might be too late.

Also hopefully you and your family is ok and safe due to the hurricane.

Good article, I just disagree with the trading of Ricky Williams. When the did the Dolphins have the opportunity to trade him for a 2nd or 3rd rounder? Before he walked out on the team at the beginning of the 2004 season? Sure, but he was the entire offense why would they have done that.. the team had just spent 2 first rounders acquiring him from New Orleans.

Since his return the Dolphins wouldn't have been able to sniff a 5th rounder for the guy, nevermind a 2nd or 3rd. You already know he has the talent to demand at least a 2nd rounder in a trade. So why not keep him? Let him contribute to the team. He's not going to hurt the cap with the salary he's making if you aren't going to get fair value.
