Commentary: Thanks Dad

I just want to add... tomorrow is my dad's birthday. He couldn't stand the Bills... among the teams he disliked the most, it was the Bills then Jets.

So tomorrow, the Dolphins are gonna win one for him :cool: Go Dolphins!

Great article AJ. My dad is my best friend too, and he smokes as I do. I worry about his health all the time. I even had a dream that I found out he had lung cancer and woke up crying. I immediately called him and he assured me he was o.k. But I still think about it frequently. I feel for you man.
 
i know exactly how you feel andrew, i lost my dad 3 weeks ago because of prostate cancer its tough right now but football really helps me to get it out of my mind for some hours
 
Great article AJ, my grandfather passed away of Lung Cancer a while back. im goona get the BreathDeep wristband within the week because the money gose to a good cause.

Your hero is up there smiling at your every move. And the fact is Andrew, he is very proud of you, I'm 10,000 percent sure of that.
 
I too lost my Dad to a Heart attack at a very young age (smoking didn't exactly help his health ya know) so i can relate, this week Miami will beat the Bills and your dad will be all :D from up above AJ :)

No disrespect meant by this but as bad as that dream is there's much worse. For instance, how do you think your dad would feel if you got lung cancer from smoking before he did....? I only bring it up cause you seem concerned enough to worry about your pops but not yourself. The world needs to increase the phin fan population not lose quality members of it. You should give each other incentive to quit if you need to like the last 1 to quit has to pay for 06 season tickets for the phins. :cool:
 
I almost lost my dad last year to complications from a quadruple bypass. Not a day goes by that I don't tell him that I love him. Thanks for showing us that there are more important things than football.

AJ good to see you get that off your chest. That's healthy. God bless you and your family during your time of mourning. Your father would/is proud of you. You have accomplished a lot in your short time on this rock.
