Commentary Thread Suggestion / Request

I reccomend that you add the commentary AUTHOR name to the article ninja post. This way, I know to immediately click on my favorite authors. Or, if it's DrAstroZoom I can just ignore it. (Just kidding, Doc!)

In fact I would remove those ArticleNinja's from the message board totally. I would give each column a spotlight on the main page of Finheaven. Someone who gives of their time for FREE should be rewarded in a little way. Why not spotlight the columinists and their work. It's original material ONLY this site has and stuff nobody else can steal. If its good enough and people want to talk about it, people will in the message board they don't need a ready made thread.

I would also remove that stupid star grading system as well. Once again someone who gives of their time for FREE to write something and better the site shouldn't be rewarded with morons voting 1 or 2 stars when the morons voting/grading probably haven't written anything since the 3rd grade if they are even IN the 3rd grade as of today.

I think its a good idea to include the columnists screen name beneath the Article Ninjas nomenclature.

I hate to admit it but it took me some time to figure out that Article Ninja was not the screen name of a single columnist.

That would be a great idea. It's good for those of us who want to know whos columns to avoid without having to actually click a link.

As a columnist, I agree. More than looking to avoid anyone, there are just some writers I look for their stuff Like Doc Astrozoom an Philunwin.

I'll look into the system to see if it's possible for me to change the thread title automatically.

The system we use doesn't allow for us to make the "article posters" name to be the writer themself. I wish we had something that complex or whatever...

Speaking as the egotistical b**tard I am, I wouldn't mind us columnists getting a little front page love, if only to encourage some feedback on the message board.

Doc and I will be forming the Columnists Union. If we don't get more front page love, we'll strike!

Personally, my thought is that AJ & Co. have done a great job with all aspects of this site, so I'm content with whatever they think works.

BTW, as long as we're forming a union, I want my pay doubled. Oh crap...wait a second...
